On July 28th, 2007, The Metafore SE group in Calgary had an open BBQ at Sandy Beach, near the Glenmore Reservoir.
It was 30 degrees in the shade for most of the week leading up to this adventure.
There were about 25 people that came to enjoy the afternoon, and everyone had a great time.
The kids loved the water, and the food was plentiful. Thanks to everyone who brought supplies.
Lessons learned? You cannot keep ice cream treats frozen in a cooler in 30 degree heat.
